Tomorrow is the big day. Our first away meet since 2019!! Thank you for all the grace and patience as we ease back into doing meets with other teams, away meets and navigate the new league software. We wanted to send a few reminders and updates. Please read the whole email.

First, several people have asked about doing private swim lessons and our coaches do offer that! You just would need to contact the coach directly and she/he would work with you to discuss the details. You can find their contact info here: https://leescrossing.swimtopia.com/coaches We suggest texting as the best way to get in touch with them :) They can do lessons for anyone including younger siblings and friends. They don't have to be on the team to get lessons with our coaches. All of them are certified Red Cross lifeguards, have years of swimming experience and have been doing lessons for years.

Some Reminders:

• Don't forget our theme for tomorrow is Patriotic!
• Swimmers need to be in the Pool at Parkwood Commons by 5:30. Please plan to arrive early enough to park and walk. The address is 1300 Parkwood Chase Northwest, Acworth, GA 30102.
• Remember no street parking or you will be towed. Please park at Pitner Elementary.
• Concessions are cash only.
• No alcohol is allowed on the pool deck. We automatically forfeit the meet if someone has alcohol.
• No bathing suits or swim caps for other teams are allowed (Stingrays, Marietta swim, etc).
• Please make sure you keep an eye on your children and respect their pool and surrounding areas. We will hear about it if this doesn't happen.
• All swimmers are expected to stay for the whole meet and swim each event unless there is an emergency. If you leave early for a relay, it means the other 3 kids can participate which makes everyone sad.

• All events are entered right now, so you should be able to go to the Swimtopia app and see what your kid is swimming. Please keep in mind that there may need to be last minute changes, but this is the most updated list.
• There is practice tomorrow morning like normal.

• There is wifi at the Lee's Crossing pool. The name of the network is the same as the password.
• If your swimmer didn't get a swim cap at practice, we will have them there again tomorrow. The team t-shirts should arrive next week.
