Thank you to everyone that has signed up to volunteer for the Meet on Thursday. We still need lots of volunteers. Check out the Swimtopia app and/or website to choose a slot. https://leescrossing.swimtopia.com/swim_meets You can also use that link or the app to let us know if your swimmer is attending the meet or not. We emailed over the list of swimmers that have let us know they are unavailable this week so far. 

For Home Meets, the pool closes at 4pm. If you are scheduled to help with set up, you should arrive at 4pm. All swimmers need to be in the pool for warm ups at 5pm. The Meet will start at 6pm. 

A few reminders:

• The Kona Ice Truck will be here.
• We recommend bringing camping chairs as they are a limited amount of deck chairs.
• Bug spray will come in handy.
• The theme for the Meet is Neon & Glow in the Dark
• Please remind your swimmers to be respectful of the area surrounding the pool & clean up after themselves.

Looking ahead, this Friday is Picture Day at 9am. All Swimmers including Whirlpools are encouraged to come. We will do a team photo and individual photos. If you were like me (this is Sarah :) our first year, I thought why would I want a photo in a pool of my kids in a swimsuit. Then I saw the photo and it has ended up being some of our favorite photos over the years. Cl!X does an excellent job. They do try to take a photo of every swimmer even if you don't plan to buy one. You wouldn't believe how many people change their mind later. After the photos, the kids can swim in the pool. We will have donuts and ribbons to hand out as well. It is always a fun day with the whole team getting a chance to be together for photos and swimming! Looking forward to another fun week of swim team!
