First Meet Final Reminders
Hey Cyclone Families,
Tomorrow is our first swim meet. We wanted to highlight a few things and share some updates. As a reminder, we have very limited parking and we are required to save spots for the opposing teams coaches and coordinators, the referee, concessions, etc. We also know of a couple of people that need handicap spots, so we will have signs on chairs, If you can walk, carpool and/or park in a neighbor's driveway, we highly recommend it. We are sorry for the inconvenience. .
- We will have our concessions set up run by Bernard and Edie again this year (thank you!). We will have burgers, hot dogs, nachos, pulled pork sandwiches, chips and drinks. They will take cash and Venmo. Remember that all proceeds go towards our end of the year awards.
- The Kona Ice Truck will also be here during the meet.
- Our meet theme is Pajama Party! So bring some cozy pjs for a team pic and to keep you warm at the end of the night when the sun goes down.
- All swimmers need to be in the pool at 5 for warm ups.
- Volunteers should check in with Jane and Sarah inside the clubhouse to get your nametag. This is our way of knowing who is and isn't here. We will have a volunteer meeting with certain volunteers around 5:40-5:45 with the Referee.
- If your child gets sick or has to miss the meet, please text Sarah at 770-851-0375 or Emily at 562-212-6127 because this requires us rearranging the meet for that age group.
- We are keeping an eye on the weather. We will swim in the rain as long as the Lifeguard and Referee can see the bottom of the pool. Please plan accordingly. If it thunders or lightnings, we do have to clear the pool till it has been 30 minutes. Please do not leave the meet as we will resume as soon as we get the all clear. Updates will be sent via Remind.
- Don't forget to bring chairs. The lounge chairs are put away during the meets. We also recommend bug spray especially with all this rain.
- Everyone's events are available on the mobile app for viewing. Please wait to write down your child's events till the afternoon as we often have last minute changes due to illness, etc. We highly recommend you check out this document. It will show you how to mark your child's arm for the meet: https://

As a reminder, this Saturday, we will have our Turns and Dives Clinic for ages 7 and up from 9-10am. The cost is $5 cash preferred. Once again it is not required that you sign up ahead of time, it just helps us with planning. Here is the link: https://forms.gle/
If you haven't picked up your t-shirts or swim caps, we have them at practices at the table under the pavilion.
Please let us know if you have any questions. We are happy to help!
