Practice times are as follows-Monday, May 11 thru Thursday, May 14 & Monday, May 18 thru Thursday, May 21:

• 5 & 6 yrs-4:30-5:00
• 7 & 8 yrs-5:00-5:30
• 9 & 10 yrs-5:30-6:00
• 11 & Up-6:00-6:30

Please note, Whirlpools does not begin until May 27. 

Your swimmer should wear their bathing suit, bring a towel, goggles (if they want to wear them) and a swim cap (if they want to wear one). We will give them a swim cap before the first meet as well. This is a busy time of year for everyone and we understand if your child can't be at practice. Emily Hobel and Sarah Martin (our coordinators) and Sarah Delaney and Jane Whitfield (our volunteer coordinators) will be taking turns at practices to be there in case you need assistance. We recommend you go to the website and look around as most frequently asked questions are on there. https://leescrossing.swimtopia.com Please feel free to email us as well with any questions. 

 As far as the weather goes, our policy is that we practice in the rain unless it is raining too hard to see the bottom of the pool. If it thunders or there is lightning, we have to wait 30 minutes before we can get back in the pool. We will do our best to get practices in.

We have an important update. Country Walk is no longer able to have a team this year. We had a meet scheduled on June 11 at their pool. Instead, we will be doing a meet with just our team against each other. We did this years ago after Covid and it ended up being a big hit. We will still have ribbons, concessions, etc. Our swimmers will just be racing each other. The nice thing is that this tends to make the meet go a good bit faster!

A few other reminders:

• No parents are allowed on the pool deck. Our practice times are back to back, so the coaches are unable to talk to parents during practice times. They need to be focusing on the swimmers. If you have a question, please see one of the coordinators during the practice or email us. We serve as the liaison between parents and coaches. Thanks for understanding that it is for the swimmer's safety.
• Please remind your children waiting to swim not to play in the tennis court unless they have a tennis racket and shoes on.
• Please check your surroundings when you are leaving practice for all towels, shoes, goggles, etc.
• Please also pick up any trash. We are so grateful to the Lee's Crossing Homeowners Association that strongly supports our swim team. We want to be respectful of the pool and surrounding areas.
• Everyone will be given a swim cap and a t-shirt once they come in.

• There is no practice on Friday, May 15, Friday, May 22 or Monday, May 25.
• Daily morning practices begin Tuesday, May 26.

• We will also have Meets on May 28, June 4, 11, 18 & 25.
• Our last morning practice is June 25.
• The Swim Team End of the Year Awards are Tuesday, June 23 at 7pm.
• The Patti Wilder County Meet is June 26-28. This is an optional swim meet. More information to come.
