Hey everyone,

We just got off the phone with Legacy Park. With the incoming weather, we have made the decision not to have the meet tonight. Instead, we will be doing a virtual meet with them. We have done this before, but it has been a while. 

What does this mean? 

Tomorrow (Friday) and Monday morning (if needed), the coaches will be timing the swimmers events and recording them. Legacy Park will do the same. We will enter the times into Swimtopia and score the meet on Monday afternoon, Everyone will still be racing the other team just at their own pool. We will still have ribbons once we have scored the meet. 

We know this can be disappointing for your swimmers, but feel like this is the safest option. We also realize that many of your swimmers are at VBS and other camps this week, so they may not be able to be there tomorrow morning. We can time them Monday too and if it doesn't work out this week, we still have another chance next Thursday to earn some ribbons! 

Please let us know if you have any questions. We know this is new for almost all of us, but this felt like the best option to still get to compete and earn ribbons.
